The Jacksonville, FL area is both a destination in itself and a great stopover point for people traveling in RVs through Florida and south Georgia. There are a number of RV parks in the area RV Parks in Jacksonville FLranging from the most basic to those with pools, planned social activities and Wi-Fi. These parks are popular with vacationers, people who are having new homes built and need a place to stay during construction and with guests visiting local families but wanting space of their own.

The most festive local RV Park exists for less than a week each year. RV City can be considered a ‘pop-up’ RV park and is located in a parking lot of the downtown Jacksonville sports complex each fall for the Florida-Georgia football game (aka the world’s largest cocktail party).  There are lots of photos of RV City on the internet and you can find more info here: the rest of the year (or other options), below are links to RV parks in the greater Jacksonville area.
